Brown and Hurley needed a purpose-built base for their Tamworth truck dealership at 43 Jewry Street - one site that could handle vehicle sales, servicing and parts under the one roof. The brief covered a new showroom, office, parts store, workshop and vehicle washbay, built to support a busy commercial vehicle operation in the New England region.
Segboer Constructions delivered the project as a new build in precast construction, bringing five separate functions - showroom, office, parts store, workshop and washbay - together across a combined 1,925 square metres. It's a genuine mix of building types under one roof: a retail showroom out front, commercial office space, and an industrial workshop and washbay behind it. The build ran for around six to seven months and was completed in 2020.
The finished facility gives Brown and Hurley a dedicated home for truck sales and servicing in Tamworth, built to handle the daily demands of a commercial vehicle dealership.
Past clients include Tamworth Regional Council, national retailers such as Supercheap Auto and Brown and Hurley, transport operators including Careys Freight Line and Kenworth Truck Service and Sales, and long-standing rural and commercial clients across the region.
